Events

The lab organises various events, all announced in the calendar:

• Biolearn, a bi-weekly reading group in which one researcher (staff member or PhD student) presents a recent scientific publication
• Biotalk, a bi-weekly discussion group in which one student (PhD or MSc) discusses his/her recent work
• a yearly two-day retreat with all staff and researchers
• a yearly social event

We also organise the (approximately six-weekly) DBL colloquium series, open to everyone interested.

Finally, we regularly organise specialised reading groups on certain topics. Currently a reading group on statistics is active, discussing the book "Mathematical statistics".
